About: My name is Chris Joslin, my friends call me Joz. I went on my first turkey hunt at 14, when my friend skipped school to call in a turkey for me. He called him in so close, I was afraid he’d see me breathing. Needless to say, I have been infatuated with turkeys and turkey hunting every since. I entered my first turkey calling contest in 2007 and placed 2nd. Since then, I have entered many more and have placed or won several of them. In 2008 I signed on as a member of the Knight & Hale Pro Staff, and have been representing them in calling contests, Bass Pro and Cabela’s outdoor events, and seminars since then. There is nothing I love more than hunting turkeys, but bowhunting whitetails is a close second. I started building custom pot calls in 2005, and then started making mouth calls in 2007 to improve my competitive calling. In 2009, I began building custom box calls, which I continue to do today.
