August 15, 2010: Shane Simpson places 1st in the Hunter division at the Iowa State Turkey Calling Contest in Manchester, IA.

May 23, 2010: The 2010 turkey season has come to an end which means more time to improve the website. One such improvement is the addition of a blog that will allow myself as well as other turkey hunting enthusiasts to share their knowledge and experiences.

March 13, 2010: Founder of THPL, Shane Simpson, takes 1st place in the Owl Hooting division at the Mid-Iowa Classic in Ames.
