About: Shane started hunting turkeys in his early teens on private land in Edgemoor, S.C. After his parents sold their land, Shane had to resort to hunting public land where he honed his skills on much tougher birds and began to video his hunts as well. In an effort to expose more youths to the outdoors, he started taking his nephews and other youths turkey hunting. Shortly after moving to Minnesota in 2008, Shane began guiding and videoing others on their hunts in the midwest and other parts of the country, all free of charge. Occupation: Graphic Artist, Large Format Digital Print Specialist and founder of “Turkey Hunt Public Land”.

Advice For Novice Hunters: "Be confident in your calling. I’ve seen too many hunters give up on a bird too early because they lack confidence. What some would call bad calling can often sound good to a lonely gobbler."
